Choosing a pool cover – our dos and don’ts
How do you choose the right model? Given the variety of types – high, medium, shallow, extra-shallow, symmetrical, asymmetrical, wall-mounted, attached to a wall, or mounted on a wall – choosing the right pool enclosure can be a challenge.
We’ve summarized our do’s and don’ts:
- Do: Carefully consider how you plan to use your pool and how you plan to use it with a cover. Do you want to be able to stand in the pool under a closed cover? Would you like to have room for a lounger and space to change clothes at the pool? Even your swimming style can be crucial. All of our models are swimmable. This is the only way to enjoy your pool even in cooler weather.
- Don’t: The choice of a model should never be based solely on the outside. Of course, the enclosure should fit into your garden, but feeling comfortable inside is at least as important.
- Don’t: Every pool and every garden is unique. Buying something off the shelf is tempting, but it can quickly lead to disaster. Wrong dimensions, the wrong roof shape, or the wrong roofing material. There’s no mistake that hasn’t been made before. Many a “bargain” turns into a nightmare in the garden.
